1. Platform and payout purpose
Rentro operates a digital vehicle-rental platform through which eligible scooters, motorcycles and self-drive cars can be offered to customers. Customers pay Rentro for confirmed bookings. After a fulfilled booking is closed and checked, Rentro calculates the amount payable to the applicable vehicle partner and may use an authorised payment or payout service provider to transfer that settlement to the partner's verified bank account or other approved destination.
2. Partner and vehicle verification
A listing may be activated only after the required partner contact, bank or payout details, RC record, vehicle information, operating city and commercial terms have been reviewed. Rentro may request additional documents where reasonably required for ownership, authority, safety, insurance, tax, regulatory or fraud-prevention checks. Submitting an application does not guarantee approval or booking volume.
3. Commercial terms
Revenue share, pricing authority, taxes, deductions, settlement cycle, maintenance responsibility and other commercial conditions are recorded in the partner's accepted agreement or approved account configuration. No public percentage on the website overrides those accepted terms. Rentro shows the applicable gross booking amount, configured share, deductions and net payable amount in the authorised settlement record.
4. When a settlement becomes eligible
A partner settlement normally becomes eligible only after the trip is completed, the return and vehicle-condition record is closed, customer payment is successfully captured and any immediate refund, cancellation or dispute hold has been resolved. The expected processing schedule is the cycle displayed in the partner account or accepted commercial terms. Bank, holiday, compliance and payment-provider processing times may apply after Rentro initiates a transfer.
5. Settlement calculation and deductions
The settlement record may include the booking amount attributable to the partner vehicle, the agreed revenue share and documented adjustments. Permitted adjustments may include applicable tax or TDS, customer refunds, cancellations, payment reversals, chargebacks, agreed operating costs, penalties supported by the agreement or a correction of an earlier settlement. Rentro will not treat a refundable customer security deposit as partner income unless the booking record and accepted terms expressly support a valid deduction.
6. Refunds, reversals and chargebacks
If a booking is cancelled, refunded, reversed or disputed, the related partner amount may be reduced, held or adjusted against a later settlement to the extent allowed by the accepted terms. Rentro will retain booking, refund and adjustment references so the affected amount can be traced. A partner may raise a dispute if an adjustment appears incorrect.
7. Verified payout destination
Settlements are sent only to a payout destination recorded for the approved partner. The partner is responsible for keeping beneficiary name, account number, IFSC, UPI or other requested information accurate. Rentro may pause a transfer when details fail verification, appear inconsistent with the approved partner or require a compliance review. A transfer reference or UTR is recorded when supplied by the payout provider.
8. Records and reconciliation
Each settlement is linked to the relevant partner, vehicle and booking. Authorised Rentro administrators can review trip status, gross amount, deductions, net payable amount, transfer status and available reference number. Partners should promptly report a missing or incorrect payment and include the vehicle number and booking or settlement reference.
9. Holds and suspension
Rentro may place a reasonable hold on a listing or settlement while it investigates suspected fraud, duplicate documents, safety incidents, unresolved customer complaints, chargebacks, invalid payout details, legal requests or a material breach of the accepted terms. Rentro will restore processing or communicate the required action after review.
10. Partner responsibilities
Partners must provide accurate records, keep vehicles roadworthy and legally eligible, honour confirmed availability, cooperate with trip handover and return evidence, protect customer information and comply with applicable laws and the accepted agreement. A partner must not ask a customer to bypass Rentro payment or booking records.
11. Settlement support and disputes
For a payout or settlement concern, email partner@rentrobike.com or call 080 6218 2071. Include the registered mobile number, vehicle registration and booking or settlement reference. Rentro will acknowledge the issue, review the linked records and provide the status or required next action through an authorised support channel.
